The Tree Cabin

The heated tree cabin is set within a small secluded wood up a steep path. Cedar lined, insulated and oak clad it cantilevers out over a remote mill pond. Wake up in a tranquil heaven only shared with shy wildlife, including deer, hare, the odd badger and a variety of birds. In the cabin are a king-size plus bed, table and chairs, kitchen area with induction plate, microwave oven & toaster. Your own smaller tree cabin, a few trees away, houses a flushing toilet and hand basin with spring water.

'Waterside Studio' is a well appointed apartment in an annexe to the main house, but with private access. It is situated in a quiet part of a unique village, which has a sea dock, adjacent to the Lune Estuary and canal basin on a branch arm of the Lancaster Canal. Our home is close to both the Lakes and the sea, situated in the centre of the vibrant market town of Ulverston which is packed with a good variety of restaurants and non chain bars. The cottage was built in 1890 and is located in the heart of the town. The house has good kitchen stocked with all the basics, from herbs, condiments and even the odd tin of baked beans, so if you fancy cooking, you can!. Our place is good for couples, solo adventurers, friends and business travellers.

Croft Farm Shepherd's Hut, Hardraw, Pennine Way

Spend a night in Hardraw, in the Yorkshire Dales. This wonderfully crafted shepherds hut is located on a working farm, with sheep, cattle, hens and pigs. Also, home to the local working sheepdog demonstration team. Located in a small village on the Pennine Way; the renowned Hardraw force, England's highest waterfall is a 5 minute stroll. The Green Dragon Inn is less than 5 minutes walk. The small market town of Hawes is a 20 minute walk, with plenty of shops and pubs.
