The Johnson House Cottage

The cottage is a secluded guesthouse in a friendly neighborhood with spectacular views of the Knik Glacier and river. This retreat has room for up to four guests. It is an open floor plan with a double bed on the ground floor and twin beds in an upstairs loft. The kitchen has an induction cooktop, refrigerator, coffee pot, microwave. Propane BBQ on the deck and bathroom with a shower. Our cottage is not visible from the parking area so self check-in is not an option.

Lower patio has chairs for sitting out and enjoying the green therapy of summer. Located four miles from Palmer this home and yards are sure to please.

Our Cabin on Wolverine Lake is located just 60 miles north of Anchorage International Airport and 10 miles outside of Palmer on a beautiful lake with no public access and surrounded by the Chugach mountain range. Canoes and Kayaks are available for use on the lake. If you have fishing gear, there are plenty of trout in the lake. Fast wi-fi and parking for 2 vehicles is available.

This wonderful home is secluded and offers a view of Matanuska Peak towering in the backdrop. Windows and 2 sliding glass doors offer a spectacular view from the open concept living room and kitchen. The newly remodeled (Spring 2026) fire pit area and custom built Adirondack chairs offer wonderful evening recreation and the opportunity to see wildlife.

Beautiful cabin nestled in the trees with gorgeous views of the mountains, 1/2 mile from Kings River access and 31 miles from the Matanuska Glacier Park. Our cabin is located just off the North Glenn Highway 62 miles from Anchorage, Alaska and 15 miles from Palmer, Alaska.
