Magical, grade II listed 18th century traditional Lakeland cottage set within 5 acres of woodlands, leading directly to 2 private beaches on Lake Windermere. Relax in a peaceful, natural environment, ideal for friends, families, wild swimmers, cyclists, paddle boarders, hikers and for cosy evenings by the fireplace. Separately charged are a luxurious hot tub, perfect after a hard days hike and a wood fired barrel sauna with cold shower. A tuck shop, art classes and treatments are also available.

The property is split up over three floors, with a bespoke kitchen diner on the ground floor, an open plan living room with window seats, a log burner and a modern tv for relaxing, then the top floor provides the bedroom with large en-suite style bathroom that’s quirkily decorated to offer a truly unique stay.

La'al Yam is a delightful cosy cottage with wonderful views and full of charm. It is surrounded by gardens full of wildlife. A place for rest and relaxation, where you can completely unwind. It is the East wing of Hylands, decorated in sympathy with Arts and Crafts principles. Quality finishes and materials throughout, using local suppliers and crafts people. It is 12 minutes walk from Kendal's many independent shops and restaurants and 5 minutes walk to our local pub the 'Rifleman's Arms'.

Granary Cottage - king bed EV Charger large garden

Superb semi detached cottage with two bedrooms, large garden & private parking within the grounds just 2 miles from Cartmel & Newby Bridge at the South end of Lake Windermere. Granary Cottage has a EV charger for vehicle charging. Vehicle charging is charged at 50p per kwh unit. The dining room has great views with a pair of French doors in to the living room which has a large double sofa bed & another pair of doors in to the garden. The master bedroom is en suite with a 2nd Jack & Jill door.

We are dog friendly. Our 250 year old cottage features modern rustic decor, u/f heating, log burner, super-fast internet, Smart TV, Sonos sound system and a complimentary podPoint 7kw EV charger. There are many wonderful walks and bike rides available from the front door. Stays start Mondays or Fridays.

Listed Historic waterside - sleeps 14

Waterside house is an ancient farmhouse which sits in a large garden surrounded by fields and woodland, it has belonged to the Finsthwaite estate since it was build in 1580 . Its historical character is shown in the large fireplace and the beams, which add to the charm. Waterside is known as the home of the “Finsthwaite Princess”. who was the alleged illegitimate daughter of Bonnie Prince Charlie. She lived in three rooms on the first floor which were panelled out of scotch pine for her.

We offer guests a contact free stay in our detached studio suite in the Lake District.To refresh the studio and to complete intensive cleaning we block off a day either side of every booking. The studio has a king-sized bed, dining table & chairs, a very comfortable sofa, TV, lobby, wet room, small kitchenette with mini-fridge, microwave, toaster, tableware, cutlery. Patio doors open on to a private sun terrace overlooking the garden and surrounding fields. Parking next to the studio.

Located within the heart of the friendly village of Lindale, which has a local pub. Lindale offers spectacular views over the Levens valley and Howgill fells and is an ideal base for those enjoying walking, mountain biking or simply relaxing. Rock Cottage retains many original features such as flag floors, beams and exposed stone walls. It also benefits from a number of luxury touches such as a jacuzzi bath and a four poster bed in the master bedroom. Pay to use EV Charger at cottage.

Drakes Cottage

Drakes Cottage sits within the courtyard of a former 18th-century coaching stable. The medieval village of Cartmel is a 15 minute walk via footpaths and country lanes, home to its 12th century Priory, Michelin starred restaurants and famous sticky toffee pudding. Grange-over-Sands is a 5-minute drive, with shops and a lovely promenade. The southern shores of Lake Windermere are just 12 minutes away. Dogs are welcome and will be safe in the garden which is totally enclosed.
