The cottage is set in 8 acres with gardens which is close to the shores of Lake Bala and within the Snowdonia National Park in North Wales. We can provide maps, bike storage, drying room and free off road parking and also advise on attractions and outdoor activities.

Derfel Pod

With stunning views of Llyn Celyn, this glamping pod comes with everything you need for a relaxing or adventurous break. Located in Eryri National Park there are endless trails that can be explored or if it’s a relaxing break you need, drink in the views from the hot tub in this peaceful area of North Wales. Cosy Welsh cottage adjacent to Bala Lake (Llyn Tegid) with views over the mountains and beyond. Ideally placed for walking and relaxing and enjoying the lake facilities nearby. The stunning Llangower lake shore is less than 5mins walk where you will find toilet facilites, parking (although not needed as you are close enough to walk) picnic area and a lovely atmosphere all year round. Visitors are able to launch paddleboards etc on the lake and many swim.
