We’d love to welcome you to our stunning guest suite set in the village of Cemaes, a former schoolhouse you will be staying in what was originally the school cloakrooms! Cemaes is close to the historical town of Machynlleth and Snowdonia National Park. Beautiful views await you along with lots of things to do and see. Whether walking, biking or just enjoying a lunch in a pretty town or visiting tourist interests there is plenty to do here. The Dyfi Valley is a designated UNESCO Biosphere.

Cae Gwyn room ( sleeps 3)

Lovely room with gorgeous views of the Dwyryd estuary towards Harlech castle. Within easy reach of Portmeirion, Snowdonia and the Lleyn Peninsula. Ideally situated for cyclists and walkers as we are on a number of cycle and footpaths including the Wales coastal path. Cae Gwyn is in a quiet location but within walking distance of the village centre which has 2 pubs, a spar shop and a number of takeaway. We are also a short walk from the mainline railway station and on several bus routes.

F/F En-Suite room with far reaching views

Family run by a second-generation guest house owner with over 45 years’ experience in the local area. The Coach House is situated in the center of the village within easy reach of the local amenities including pubs, restaurants, cafes, shops, tourist information office, ice cream parlor, and spectacular walks. All rooms are En-Suite with TVs, complimentary wi-fi, and a mini-fridge. There is a selection of continental breakfast provided in the room along with tea and coffee making facilities.

Close to Zip World, various National Trust properties, Castles and great walking and climbing. 2 separate bedrooms each with double bed and shared bathroom. Enjoy easy access to the beach and promenade a 2 minute walk away, 10 minute walk from the train station and a 10 minute walk to the centre of Colwyn Bay or Rhos-on-Sea with popular shops and restaurants from this charming place to stay. The Welsh Mountain Zoo is a 5 minute drive or a minibus ride from the train station. We are based on a quiet road and a sea view from the garden. To be aware, it is not 10 minutes to Snowdon as the description says, it's a 30 minute drive.

Ystafell Las (The Blue Room) is a lovely, light room, with a double bed and king size duvet, large windows, and a view of Y Gogarth (Great Orme). Tea/coffee making facilities in the room. There is a small en suite shower room. A self-serve continental breakfast is available in our dining room, directly below The Blue Room.
