Our cottage is perfect for families, couples or friends who want a peaceful base to explore glorious Argyll. This is a truly magical place, with incredible sea views, and a large garden that leads straight on to the shore. It's also a great base for exploring the Isle of Bute, the "Secret Argyll Coast", and the Arrochar Alps. After a big day out, you can come back and relax in front of the log burner. Leac Na Sith means "Hearthstone of Tranquility"... it could not be a more appropriate name.

This unique place has a style all its own. Mackie lodge is a private, luxurious lodge set in the grounds of Polnaberoch House in the heart of Loch Lomond . Situated 4 miles from the picturesque village of Luss, 5 miles from Helensburgh and 5 miles from Balloch . The lodge caters for two people and offers private parking and own entrance. Please bear in mind that there are steps up to up access the cottage from either door: thus, if you have reduced mobility, sadly, Oakdene may not be for you.
