The Head Water House is very easy to find just 5 miles off HWY 101, just shy of Old Town Eureka (10 minutes). This place is truly unique with it's "one of kind" natural Redwood amphitheater and open meadow views. The Elk River Valley is relatively quiet, dark starry nights, and has 50% more sunny days than Eureka proper. Equipped with Starlink, rural connectivity has never been better. My guest space is a small, private room (11x7, not incl bathroom) attached to the back of my house. The room has a private entrance off the backyard with an attached private bath. I offer keyless entry. Guests can enjoy the attached deck off the room and relax in a peaceful yard. The room is a burst of color to contrast with the gray days in Humboldt. The room is a short walk to the zoo and several restaurants. Old town is a quick drive.

Red Barn Cottage, Cozy and Charming

The Red Barn Cottage is located within walking distance of the Victorian village of Ferndale. The Cottage is a charming, separate studio with a private entrance, gated patio, full kitchen and bathroom. We provide wonderful amenities including coffee, teas, continental breakfast items and snacks for our guests. A small to medium size dog is allowed but with our approval and an additional nonrefundable pet fee.

The Reel ‘em Inn Studio B

The Reel ‘em Inn Studio B is a private one bedroom studio for a single traveler or traveling couple. With all the ocean feels, it is a very comfortable space with a fully equipped kitchen, spacious bedroom with a queen size bed, with Wi-Fi and Tv streaming, and a patio right on the water. 3 minute drive away from Eureka with tons of restaurant and shopping options. This unit is dog friendly.
