We are next door to Leebeen Park with its beautiful playground and lake and a short 2 minute drive to scenic lakes of Lough Gowna. Lovely spot for fishing lovers and kayaking.1 Minute walk/drive tothe local pubs/shops and a short 5 min drive to nearby villages Arva and Lough Gowna. 15 minute drive to Longford Town and a 20 minute to Cavan Town centre.

The Hobbit House is set within an orchard along side 3 yurts. Its grass roof and quirky round door entrance are reminiscent of The Hobbit. The Hobbit House sleeps up to 6. There are two handcrafted King size beds (which can also sleep as four singles) for a friends getaway. It also sleeps two singles, so is perfect for large families. The Clonmellon Lodge is an 18th c. gothic mini castle recently restored, newly refurbished bathrooms and kitchen, all in one floor, with easy access to the grounds of Killua Castle. The Lodge can fit 5 people comfortably. There are 2 bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms. The first one with an ( American) Queen size bed, and the second with a double size bed. There is an office with a daybed that can sleep an small adult comfortably, and it has a full bathroom next to it.

Peacock House

The Peacock House is located within the Lismore Demesne. It was once the dairy and workers cottage. From the 1980s onwards it was used to house peacocks, giving the cottage its name. After being left dormant for 80 years it was lovingly restored three years ago. These days it is a bright and cozy cottage offering tranquil views of mature trees and park land. There is private access to forest walks along the Doney Stream just outside the doorstep.
