This journey, along with my new wife Joy, has lead to us becoming Airbnb hosts. Our eclectic, cozy, charming, spacious and right on the Bayou listing is a place we are sure you’ll love. Lightning Bug Lane in the Trees on the Lake

Imagine a luxury cabin in the trees, in a cove on Cross Lake - for a romantic enchanted forest vibe getaway. Watch the birds and squirrels on the back porch with morning coffee or evening cocktails. Catch lightning bugs at dusk. Take a kayak out to cross lake. Spend time in our upstairs reading loft with our very own “little library”. Stargaze through our telescope. “Serenity on Sibley” Guesthouse~Close to Downtown

Down the winding road, at the bottom of the wooded hill, “Serenity” awaits. This single-room guesthouse sits on the banks of Sibley Lake. Relax and take in the sunsets from the screened porch. We provide a place to dock your boat, and can even recommend the best routes along the river that we often take ourselves. Please note that we do not allow pets at the cottage so get your fur babies a sitter and come on down.
