I'm an architect, and originally designed the studio as a workspace at the rear of our home for my photographer husband, Ian. Close to all transport links train/bus/motorway.A well equipped kitchenette allows for cooking with continental breakfast provided. The cottage is warm and quiet with double glazing and a heat pump/aircon. Private entrance and courtyard . Walking distance to Trentham Race course,Royal Wellington golf course and Fig tree cafe.

It's a walk up to a special view of Wellington

Nestled against the bush just above our home, our studio offers an amazing view of Wellington Harbour. Reaching it requires a brief uphill walk, but for those who enjoy the outdoors and don’t shy away from a little exercise, the reward is well worth it. The breathtaking views and cosy accommodation make the effort part of the experience. That said, if you prefer level access or are travelling with particularly heavy luggage, our studio may not be the best fit.
