Lynton itself is on the edge of Exmoor and the South West Coast path so it is ideal for walks

The delightful town centre of Lynton is on the doorstep with plenty of shops, cafes, pubs and restaurants to explore. In short walking distance are many local attractions including Lynton Museum, The Valley of the Rocks, the South West Coast path and the famous Lynton and Lynmouth Cliff Railway.

This is the original Barbrook schoolroom built by the Methodists in 1870 - a large airy groundfloor space with tall windows looking out across the valley. It is now a romantic hideaway for two - an elegant but comfortable open-plan apartment featuring log stove, large bed, and window seats, plus underfloor heating, modern well-equipped kitchen and bathroom, and smart TV. It's an ideal base from which to explore all the pleasures of Exmoor by the sea, and your hosts are just next door if needed.

Underfloor heating and a cosy wood-burner. There is an EV charger at the barn. Beaches and moorland all within a half hour drive. Being within a working farm, sadly we cannot allow dogs.
