Perfectly situated walking distance to the MIU Campus, Everybody's and walking trails, our cozy and beautifully appointed, East facing chalet will have you starting each day with a smile on your face. With off street parking, this single story home features a fully equipped kitchen and laundry with dedicated ironing board. Perfect for short or long stays. The home is renovated but old - uneven flooring and imperfect finishing work.

Studio 55 at A Stone's Throw

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. This studio has parking right to the front door. It has an open kitchen into the spacious living room. A macrame room divider divides the living room and king size bedroom. Enjoy sitting on the patio and watching the sheep and horses in the pasture. Attached to A Stone's Throw, the option of renting both units make for a great reunion weekend. Lots of special touches, including Granny's cookies, will make you feel pampered at Studio 55.

This is the smallest of 4 apartments in a beautifully restored, turn of the century home that was turned into apartments in the 1920s. Three huge sycamore trees surround the house. The fully fenced back yard is a nature retreat complete with pond and sometimes frogs. Large decks surround the back of the house with each tenant having their own share of deck and a BBQ. Also great views out the bedroom windows. Good cell service to use your own hotspot for getting online, but NOTE: no TV or wifi is it available.

The Vernon Street Guest House - Suite 2

Built in 1900 and renovated in 2022, Suite 2 shows little signs of the once quirky old space. Completely private, with all the amenities, it boasts a spacious bedroom, 1 bathroom, a fully equipped kitchen, dining area, living room with a desk for workspace, and a laundry room. While you're here, we hope you are able to relax and enjoy the well lit deck along with a cup of freshly roasted coffee, which we are happy to have provided.
