The Captains Quarters at Sylvanrude is a step into a forest of Douglas Fir, Cedar, and Hemlock. The small apartment is above a garage, and is equipped with a coved ceiling bathroom, (tall folks beware) full kitchen, cozy sleeping area with a new queen bed on antique frame, TV with DVDs only, (wifi is through MIFI, a Verizon source), a private beach fire pit with beach access, and the most amazing sunsets over Case Inlet. If you are a bird watching enthusiast, don't forget the binoculars!

Our place is perfect for two adults (no children, sorry) to get away. We are pet friendly with certain limitations, however (read House Rules below). There are good restaurants nearby with indoor and outdoor dining and take out service. We have a stunning view of Hood Canal and the Olympic mountains right from your deck.

Looking for a quiet place to get away “glamp” - our special cabin is the place for you. The cabin is SMALL and cozy. It features a queen bed in upstairs sleeping loft as well as a couch that pulls out into a double size sleeper, covered kitchen & private hot shower located OUTSIDE. There's an easy-to-use Incenelet toilet. Someone will meet you to go over check-in when you arrive. We allow you to bring 2 dogs for a $50 fee each.
