The space The studio, is set within a newly converted barn, with its own entrance on the quiet edge of the Lake District, a few steps from a wood-fired sauna and a wild swimming pool. Atelier was inspired by painting holidays in France. It is a spacious studio at Hylands providing a base for escape, rest and adventure. It is cosy with a wood burner, uses high quality materials throughout, curated with love and care. Surrounded by beautiful gardens to explore, where you can dine al fresco or just sit and watch the wildlife and the ever changing views. It's 12 minutes walk to Kendal's many independent shops and restaurants, and 5 minutes to our local pub, the 'Riflemans Arms'.

The Den is a unique space within the Lake District - a Scandinavian BBQ cabin. A large BBQ pit in the centre to sit around provides a cosy relaxing evening space, and a place to cook! WiFi, Fridge, Microwave, Kettle & Coffee Machine. Bedding provided. Recently upgraded bathroom facilities! Private shower, toilet and sink, exterior but right next to The Den. 8 minutes by car to Windermere, 5 minutes to Kendal. Easy access to a bus stop and cycle lane. Adults only. Sorry but no pets.

Pip's Hideaway is our gorgeous 1 bedroom pet friendly holiday cottage situated on our family-run livestock farm, in the hamlet of Selside, close to Kendal and the Lake District. It was lovingly created from an old farm building in 2012 to a high standard keeping traditional features. The cottage is the perfect base for exploring all the Lake District has to offer. (A car is highly recommended) We are 9 miles from Bowness on Windermere , 11 miles from Ambleside and 23 miles from Keswick.

Nestled in the hills 5 minutes outside Kendal, the hut sits in a private meadow, enjoying far reaching fell views. Hunker down with a book, play board games and unplug from the rest of the world or use it as a base to explore the beautiful Lake District National Park. Step inside and you'll find a King sized bed and cosy log burner. Outside, enjoy the dark skies from the private fire pit area. Guests can book a sauna & organic cold water pool session less than a 5 minute walk away.

Welcoming guests from all nationalities, faiths and backgrounds, sadly no pets in the cottage. Children welcome with books/games/ toys adapted to age.
