Explore the beautiful Calder valley from this characterful grade II listed annex to Kilnhurst Old Hall, once the home of the author, artist and traveller William Holt. We have a comfy king-size bed in the lower bedroom, and two singles or a double on the mezzanine level above as you prefer, and a wood burning stove to keep you cosy. There are fantastic walks, loads of fascinting local history, independent shops and places to eat and drink. We have a safe space for cyclists to store bikes, too!

It is a five minute drive from the historic village of Haworth and is a perfect location for visiting the Brontë parsonage where the Brontë sisters lived and the moors which inspired their writing, the Yorkshire Dales, Ilkley and Saltaire. There is Netflix and a smart TV in the bedroom and living room.

Approximately 15 min walk to Holmfirth's cafés, bars and live music venue, with off-road parking adjacent. Furnished with a scandi vibe, over one floor, the hotel-style bedroom comprises a comfy double bed, Wi-Fi, smart TV, fridge, kettle & crockery for pre-bought dining. Patio doors give access to outdoor space with seating and fire-pit. Firewood available on request. The bathroom offers an electric shower, cloakroom basin, toilet and towel rail. Relax in front of the wood burning stove, or on the lovely rear deck overlooking our brook and woodland. It’s an easy 5 minute walk to the village with great pubs, shops and restaurants.
