All Guests & owners have sole use of the lake and can bring their own boats, kayaks, water boards etc. During the spring/summer months guests can book onto the water park on the lake. This thoughtfully converted cottage aims to provide you with all the comforts of a loving home, but with an abundance of style that lets you know you’re being treated somewhere far away. The property is split up over three floors, with a bespoke kitchen diner on the ground floor, an open plan living room with window seats, a log burner and a modern tv for relaxing, then the top floor provides the bedroom with large en-suite style bathroom that’s quirkily decorated to offer a truly unique stay.

Deers, Badgers, foxes, bats, owls, hedgehogs, buzzards and red kites are a few of our lodgers. An ideal base to explore the Hidden Gem of the Lake District.

Pet Free! Please note - the lodge does not accept children under 7 yrs of age. Near the beach, onsite water sports centre, aqua park, wake park and some fantastic walks in Cumbria. It has a Kingsize Double Bed and a Twin, Smart TV, Free WFI, Parking, fully equipped kitchen and views of the 200 acre lake. Bring your own kayaks and paddle boards. There is also a Ski Bar which serves food and drink. Towels are provided. The nature reserve is a birders paradise! There are local amenities nearby.

Reconnect with nature at this unforgettable escape. Our modern cabin is set in our ten acre small holding close to the south Cumbria beaches and southern Lake District. Relax and enjoyed our cabin, it’s deck and hot tub or sit in the orchard and watch our hens. During winter when our smallholding settles down awaiting spring it’s a great base to explore the area. You will be the only guests and have the ten peaceful acres to yourself. You may bring One dog for a small fee.
