The location is near to the white desert and the black desert and perfect as starting point for trips to this region. The next city is Bahriya Oasis. There you can find everything need for life. Also some interesting attracktins, like the museum of golden mummys or a really nice pharaonic grave. Also some hot springs are available beside the city.
