Our favorite thing about the neighborhood is the live oak trees that sweep across Government Street along with all of the stringed lights at various houses nearby. Your family will be close to everything at this centrally located home located in the Tillman's corner area of Mobile, AL. The house is approximately 1/4 mile from a new Dollar General and 3 miles from interstate I-10. In 2024 we did an interior renovation of the house, so that it now features LED lighting, freshly painted walls, new floors, new appliances, a tile shower, granite countertops, and brand new furniture. Our guesthouse is located behind our house on a beautiful Mobile street with a live oak canopy and Spanish moss accents. The 600 sq ft cottage has been remodeled keeping the old Southern style and charm that makes Mobile such a lovely city. After waking from a restful slumber in the king-size bed, enjoy your morning coffee/tea on the private outdoor patio. Come and go as you please via a private doorway onto patio.

The Historic Cottage at Marine

The Historic Cottage at Marine is one of the oldest houses in the Oakleigh Garden District, built in 1860. Enjoy coffee or a cocktail in the private courtyard in the back or on the front porch. There is an Irish pub across the street that serves delicious hamburgers. The Downtown Entertainment District is only a few blocks away. The house is one block from the parade route during Mardi Gras.
