We are centrally located on MDI - close to ponds, lakes and the Atlantic, hiking in Acadia as well as near coffee shops, restaurants and shopping. Peaceful & pet friendly acre near Acadia in natural, wooded setting. Fast WiFi, view to Ripples Pond (a wildlife sanctuary), & fenced in backyard. Big 1 bed cottage has comfy King mattress + 2 sleeper futons. The Cabin (only open May 1-Oct 31) has kitchenette, bathroom & Queen bed. A backyard path to hammock & chill spot by Ripples (view only, but 1/2 mile away is Long Pond for swimming, canoe/kayak rental). Grill. Firepit. Tranquility! NOTE: Cabin open May-Oct + has ceiling+box fans but no A/C

This unique cottage has private waterfront, serene decks and a tranquil setting!

The perfect Acadia getaway! In the heart of Otter Creek, just minutes from Acadia National Park, Bar Harbor, Seal Harbor, and Northeast Harbor. A queen bedroom and full bath with walk-in shower are on the first floor. Near hiking trails, carriage roads, restaurants, and Mount Desert Island’s rugged coastline.

Located on Mount Desert Islands, "Quietside". The cottage features high ceilings and an open floor plan, with a small deck looking into the woods The walls are decorated with original art work by the owner. Our location is central to the island, situated just outside the village of Somesville; 15 minutes to Bar Harbor, 10 minutes to Southwest Harbor by car. Hiking and swimming opportunities are just 5 minutes away by car. The Arthaus is not suitable for pets, despite our love for them.
