We designed this boutique, eco retreat to welcome guests to enjoy panoramic mountain views, the wild landscape, a lakeside hot tub, peace, calm and our organic produce. The Hidden Haven offers a romantic farm-stay experience with the space to reconnect, unwind, and rest surrounded by the quiet rhythm of nature.

Gap of Dunloe Shepherd's Cottage

Enjoy a memorable visit when you stay in this unique place. Nestled in the heart of Gap of Dunloe Glacial Valley, Beaufort, Killarney on the Ring of Kerry, spend some quiet time in our lovingly restored 1800s cottage. The accommodation comprises of one King bed downstairs, a mezzanine with 2 single beds and second mezzanine with one single bed, both accessed by ladder. Cottage is Off Grid, lights and fridge are solar powered,. Cooker, hot water, heating and shower are powered by gas.

A 200 year-old stone cottage in the beautiful Roughty valley, close to the village of Kilgarvan, the beautiful heritage town of Kenmare and also Killarney and its famous National Park. The cottage maintains many original features including the original stone floor and hearth. It’s set on its own private garden where you can truly enjoy the peace and quiet of this amazing place and is also an ideal base for discovering so much including the Ring of Kerry and the Beara Penninsula.

Ideally located only 2 km from Killarney town, adjoining The Killarney National Park, with genuine easy and direct 24 hours access to it and it's walking and bike trails. A shop, pubs and restaurants only 5 minute walk. The INEC is only a 1 km walk away along the promenade, Please note this cottage does not have level access.

Surrounded by various wildlife & farm animals. The Gleneagle INEC is a quick 3km trip away along with many hotels on the muckross road. Other nearby sight seeing locations include torc waterfall, muckross abbey, ladies view & Ross castle. Horse & cart tours can be arranged with notice.

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway on a dairy farm in Muckross in Killarney. Relax in this tiny one bedroom cottage in the Irish countryside. Look out onto green fields. A perfect base for hiking or cycling in the area. The cottage was built in the 1970’s so it is not a new property and the interior reflects the age. The house is not suitable for kids as there is only 1 bed.
