This organic house is the larger of the two neighbouring holiday homes (both can be booked together for up to 7 people, see also ‘Lichtberg 2’). It is located in a completely rural idyll and yet very close to the city (10 minutes to the university, city centre, main station and motorway). It has been optimally renovated with high-quality materials and is a beautiful home for 5 people plus 1 small child who want to enjoy the high altitude above the Moselle valley. You’ll love our place because of the ambiance in an old somewhat skew house, a former train station, close to Echternach, Berdorf, Mullerthal and Beaufort. Hiking trails, cycling paths just across the street. Gas station, bakery shop and supermarket in the near surrounding (5 min walk). Public transport in front of the house direction Beaufort, Ettelbrück, Diekirch and Echternach. Our place is good for couples, solo adventurers, and families with kids (playground just next to the house).

Our stylish cottage is situated in the charming wine village Wiltingen. From the spacious living room and the balcony you have a beautiful view on the Altenberg. The large garden overlooks the village and the surrounding vineyards and is great for all sorts of activities. Enjoy a meal from the grill, relax in the hammock between the apple trees and at the end of the day watch the sunset with a cool Riesling wine. The Riesling-grapes grow right behind the garden gate.

The house is located in immediate vicinity of the Dinosaur park and the hike trails of Teufelsschlucht. Beautiful Müllerthal as well as the lake of Echternach with a swim area, beautiful play grounds and other activities are only 20 resp. 10 min. away. The house consists of a main building with a tiled stove and an adjacent building with 2 more fire places, a winter garden and a home cinema.
