Additionally the cottage features an outdoor braai and a covered patio. The property also offers a nature trail that leads to a stunning view of the landscape. For added convenience, there is a solar power system.

Private stand-alone cottage on a beautiful farm 1.5 hours north of Cape town and 30-40 minutes from Elands Bay. This is a very simple, off-grid, self-catering cottage with beautiful mountain views, a dam to swim in and hiking access to the entire 2000 hectare farm. The farm has established hiking and mountain biking trails, horse riding on request and established sport and trad rock climbing routes. The cottage has two fireplaces, a gas stove, fridge, a 'donkey' water heater and solar power.

No electricity at the cottage. Guests can also choose a unique campsite that have ablution facilities. Visit Ymansdam and taste, experience and smell the lovely Karoo.
