Idyllic Peaceful Hideaway

Meadow Cottage is a welcoming, cosy two bedroomed retreat raised from the ruin of a Welsh longhouse. It nestles in a beautiful valley flanked by trees and hills and is the perfect place for a relaxing break. As you approach the property along the narrow country lane, be prepared to fall into the embrace of this peaceful and tranquil location. The cottage is well equipped and has a pretty garden surrounded by fields and woodland with a patio for alfresco dining or just being at one with nature.

New barn conversion. I have tried to maintain the character. The decor is Agri/industrial, reusing as much of the raw materials around the farm. It has three king-size beds all on-suite. 1 x Very large bedroom upstairs with sofa and balcony and 2 smaller ground floor bedrooms. Each room has a TV and wifi. The main living room includes a kitchen, a table, a large L-shaped sofa and coffee table: an outdoor table and chairs, BBQ and a covered area for storing bikes and a EV Charger (50p/kw) etc.

Each cabin has its own private hot tub, fire pit, outside seating area and parking. Inside we have a comfy bed, cooking facilities, fridge with an icebox, shower rooms, smart TV and WIFI. Local toiletries are provided.Well behaved dogs are welcome with a fenced area to allow off lead time.

The property sits in the most spectacular location in the heart of the beautiful Towy Valley and adjacent to the river in an elevated position with uninterrupted views to the river from a large private balcony with glass balustrades. Just 5 miles from the market town of Carmarthen and the town of Llandeilo and a short drive to many spectacular beaches of Gower and Pembrokeshire. The town of Laugharne, Dylan Thomas’s birthplace with estuary and castle is well worth a visit.

The Stowaway is located on the cliff in the beautiful fishing village of New Quay, right on the coastal path. Along with the spectacular sea views guests can enjoy relaxing on their private balcony whilst watching the dolphins play. Why not fire up the bbq provided for al fresco dining! Maes Y Grove Cottage is one of a pair of properties on a quiet but accessible small holding in a rural area situated between the villages of Llanddarog and Nantgaredig and conveniently situated for the National Botanical Gardens of Wales, Aberglasney Gardens, Llandeilo Town and Carmarthen.
