Following extensive recent renovation it has been transformed into chic, comfortable and spacious apartments that showcase the character of the building. The museum and aquarium are located nearby. Getting around is particularly easy out-of-season when smaller crowds and quieter roads make trips a breeze, and journeys to places as pretty as Penzance, Padstow, Perranporth and Polperro are perfectly possible in just a day! Popular destinations like Fowey (30 minutes), Newquay (45 minutes), Falmouth (50 minutes) and Truro (35 minutes) are always worth a visit, whilst St Austell (15 minutes) has a wide selection of supermarkets (Asda, Tesco, Aldi, Lidl) as well as the nearest mainline train station. The apartment building does not have an elevator. This lovely duplex is located on the third floor of a newly renovated century-old traditional Lisbon apartment building. The bottom floor of the apartment has two bedrooms (one of which has a lovely balcony), a bathroom and open kitchen and living room. The top floor has a second bathroom, living room (that can be used as a 3rd bedroom) with sofa bed and access to the apartment's pièce de résistance, its rooftop terrace. There is air conditioning in every room so that you can enjoy your stay year-round, without fear of the weather. All throughout the apartment, there is plenty of natural light and large double-paned windows that provide picturesque views of the city below. The kitchen is equipped with brand new appliances, including stove, oven, microwave oven, dish washer, refrigerator/freezer combo, toaster, coffee maker, kettle, as well as all the pots and pans, utensils, silverware and plates for your meals. Additionally, the apartment has a washer, iron and ironing board. We provide fresh towels and bed linen, so there is no need to bring your own. In the living room area, sit back and relax on the comfortable sofa and enjoy the large-screen 42 inch LED television, with cable. The local bakeries, cafés, restaurants, and shops of Rua Morais Soares are all very close by, while Largo do Intendente, is a 10 minute walk away. The Arroios subway station (green line) is a short 5 minute walk from the apartment, whereas both the Alameda subway station (red line) and Anjos subway station (green line) are each a single hop away (or each a mere 750m walking distance) from the apartment. Besides the subway, there are plenty of bus stops nearby that provide transportation to various parts of Lisbon. The building does not have an elevator, so please be prepared to make the climb to the 3rd floor.

Our flat has a vibrant, artistic vibe and is located in small building, designed by the famous Sevilla architect Anibel Gonzalez. The building has been renovated to provide modern conveniences like a lift, air conditioning & heating and Wi-Fi. It is one of four apartments in this emblematic building. We love that it is part of the city's rich history! We especially admire its balcony and views onto the plaza, high ceilings, arched windows and beautiful facade. We also like how it is quiet but in a lively neighborhood. A simple three story building with a elevator. There is a wonderful cafe downstairs that we believe has the best breakfast in town. They have great Italian coffee and they make their own breads and cakes. Fabulous extra virgin olive oil too! For afternoon relaxing have some wine and cheese at the low key authentic bar next door. Pepe and I think of each guest as if you were family. We believe that the point of Airbnb is to feel connected to the people of the place you are exploring and to have extra assistance in getting to know the place you are visiting. However, we also respect that each guest is different and some prefer privacy while others may like a bit of company. The apartment is in the historic center of Seville, with several markets within a minute's walk. Find tapas galore in the nearby square or join the local folk at the Vizcaino Bar for vermouth and mussels. Main tourist sights are a short and enjoyable walk away. There is a flea market that has taken place every Thursday since the 13th century right at the foot of our apartment. Pretty cool to see. The family that owned the building prior to its renovation were known for the books their sold on Thursdays.
