Cob Cottage

Channel the pursuit of pause in this one-of-a-kind earth house. The cozy retreat was hand-sculpted using local and sustainable natural materials, and features a central living space with cantilevered slab stairs leading to the loft bedroom. Guests have access to the entire cottage and surrounding property. We live in the neighbouring house, and are happy to give advice or answer questions to help you make the most of your stay. The neighborhood is quite rural and mostly agricultural with several farms and a small private vineyard. The home is a 10 minute walk from the beach and a 20 minute walk from a family grocery and deli specializing in local organic produce. Mayne Island has a small community bus. Times and routes are limited, particularly in the winter. It will stop at the driveway. We also have an official hitch hiking system with signed Car Stops where you can wait for a ride. Usually you don't have to wait long. We are happy to offer pickup and drop off at the ferry dock as a courtesy to encourage car-free travellers, on days when the community bus is not running. Please let us know ahead of time that you'll be coming without your own transportation, and we will make sure that either we or the community bus (which will drop you off at our driveway) are there to meet you when your ferry arrives. The BC Ferries terminals near Victoria and Vancouver are easily reachable via public transit from their respective airports and downtowns.

Studio in Duncan- Refined and Cozy w/ Hot Tub

Welcome to our cozy, art-filled studio in Duncan, Cowichan Valley. Whether you're here to relax or explore, it's the perfect home base. The suite is beside our home, with full privacy. Enjoy a deck, hammock, and year-round private hot tub. Inside, full-equipped kitchen with granite counters, a propane range, and a bar fridge. It sleeps four with a queen Murphy bed and a queen loft bed, both with organic sheets. Stay comfortable with radiant floor heating, a rustic fireplace, and AC for summer.

A cheerie suite close to hiking trails/wineries

Our bright and cheerful suite is one bedroom with a double sofa bed in the living area. It is fully furnished with a full kitchen, complete bathroom facilities and washer/dryer. The suite is totally self contained with its own private entrance. Linens, towels, shampoos and utensils are provided together with coffee, fresh cream We are at the foot of Mt. Tzouhalem (Zoo-Halem), a popular hiking/mountain biking and walking destination for outdoor enthusiasts. Our suite is inspected and legal.

Vesuvius Village Cottage

This clean, cozy cottage with a Scandi feel is located a short 7 minute walk from the best swimming and sunset beach on Salt Spring. Equipped with a kitchen, bathroom, and queen bed this is the perfect spot to enjoy a taste of the Salt Spring life. Shop at a local farm stand and use the kitchen to cook up a farm to table meal. Then go for a walk to the beach to enjoy the best sunset on Salt Spring! After a quick walk home, a comfy bed awaits, or stay up and play one of many board games offered!

Our heritage home is only 5 minutes to downtown and 15 minutes to the Cowichan District hospital. The "HH Garden Suite", is situated in the heart of the Cowichan Valley's mountain - biking area and is no more than a ten minute drive to any of the three mountains that valley bikers boast of! Sunset Suite is located in the heart of Channel Ridge and all that it has to offer. Situated at the top of the ridge with ocean views looking down The Sampson Narrows this suite is walking distances to the vast trail network knows as "Channel Ridge Trails". Located 8 minutes from Ganges village and a short drive to many of the islands best beaches. Contemporary design, bright and airy, this suite is self contained with all you will need, suite has it's own entrance and private outdoor area.

A stay at the Granary comes with a tour of the Keating farm if you choose! Our guests have loved learning about the history and future of the farm. The cabin is designed for a cozy place to unwind, relax and be your Cowichan home base. Featuring a wood burning fireplace, classic claw foot tub, comfortable linens and of course an expansive private deck with field views- the perfect place to cozy up and enjoy your local coffee in the morning or local glass of wine after a day on the town.

Escape to our private one-bedroom suite nestled in the heart of Maple Bay on beautiful Vancouver Island. This cozy haven offers sweeping ocean views and a perfect blend of comfort and adventure. Steps from the water and public beach enjoy sightings of seals, otters, birds, and even whales. Ideally located to explore the Cowichan Valley’s scenic trails, award winning wineries, and vibrant local scene - making it the perfect base for both relaxation and outdoor exploration.

Mount Tzouhalem Lookout

Welcome to our listing and the Cowichan Valley. We overlook Quamichan Lake, and are located midway between salt water at Maple Bay and the city of Duncan (each are a six minute drive away). We are also midway between Nanaimo and Victoria (1 hour drives). For bikers and hikers the Mt. Tzoulhalem (Kaspa Road) trailhead is 600m away (we provide bike lockup). Our rate is for 2 guests. Additional guests are $50 per night. Sorry, we're not child-proofed.

Oceanfront Studio with Hot Tub

We're located oceanfront in beautiful Maple Bay near biking/hiking trails, Maple Bay beach, pubs and restaurants. This cozy Studio offers stunning views and is complete with a kitchenette, full-piece bathroom and a hot tub. Suite has its own private entrance. Kitchenette is equipped with a small fridge, induction stove top, convection oven/microwave/air fryer. Please note: Driveway is sloped, with set of stairs to Guest Suite.

Ocean Front Paradise * The View * The View

Sitting on three acres with complete privacy. Home was built in the 1940s and perched over Maple Bay with incredible panoramic views. Ocean, mountains, rain forest, wildlife and constant sun throughout the day makes this retreat like no other. Home is very accessible, private, has a cottage feel, natural landscape, ample private parking, close to all amenities and heated pool from June to mid October.
