FNQ Blooms Tropical Flower Farm Lodge

The Tropical Flower Lodge sits at the foothills of Mt Bartle Frere, surrounded by lush rainforest and vibrant tropical gardens. Our property is also a working flower farm, home to a wide variety of Heliconias and Gingers. The lodge is completely self‑sustaining. Fresh spring water flows though the property a gravity‑fed system, our on‑site waterfall generates clean hydroelectric power. Guests often tell us it feels like staying in a hidden, eco‑friendly sanctuary where nature does all the work.

Island Cottages •

New fully equipped 2 bedroom house only a block away from Nelly Bay beach on tropical Magnetic Island. It can be rented as a 1 bedroom (2nd beroom will be locked if booked for 2 pax) or 2 bedroom house depending on your needs. There is a queen size bed in both bedrooms. Great central location, less than a minute walk to the beach, grocery store, pharmacy, clinic, playground, public BBQ on the beach front and bottle shop. Couple minutes to cafes, restaurants, souvenir shops, bakery and bank.

Mena Creek Flower House, "The Birdsnest"

Set on 40 Private acres, "The Birdsnest" is our modern air-cond smaller cabin. It is open plan living/bedroom with q/size bed and sofa that converts to double bed for extra guests. Seperate bathroom and undercover large deck with stunning rural views. Private river safe swimming hole. Free wifi, flat screen TV. We do have 2 other cabins on the property to accommodate larger families or groups. 7mins from Paronella Park. Due to Covid 19 we are no longer providing breakfast.

Located on a no through road amidst tropical palms is our fully self contained 1 bedroom unit on the ground floor of our home. Surrounded by native bush and wildlife you get to experience the real Maggie just 1.5km from the ferry terminal and a 3 minute walk to the bus stop. Fully air conditioned or enjoy the fresh air and wildlife sounds by utilizing the ceiling fans throughout. Share our large private pool with gorgeous tropical surrounds. All of our guests love the location and proximity to restaurants, cafes and bars, family-friendly activities, and the The Strand Beach. The apartment is recently fully renovated.
