Chequer Barn Apartment

An oak framed loft apartment is above a large garage which is accessed by stairs with a balcony for tree level seating. The space is not attached to our house and has separate access. The pitched roof gives the apartment a feeling of space and light, with underfloor heating to keep it cost in the winter months. The outside space is ideal if you want some fresh air. We are in a rural location with no amenities, although the nearest village is only two miles away. We have natural spring water too

You will stay in a beautiful airy converted self contained studio which has its own entrance and is part of a large Victorian Villa (there are steps leading down into the garden - may not be suitable for those with limited mobility). The apartment is situated on the cliff top of North Bay, with a lovely sea view. A 20 second walk brings you to the cliff top benches where you can sit and take in the stunning view of the bay and the castle. We are a 5min walk from the beach and 10min to the town centre. It’s on the ground floor of our 5 storey Victorian terrace family home. It is separate from the rest of the house so you’ll have full privacy. There’s plenty of space and the location is amazing!
