Great for walkers, cyclists & people wishing to enjoy the delights of the North Yorkshire hills which are on the doorstep. An excellent cafe(open Thurs- Mon), 3 pubs & a well-stocked village shop nearby add to the joys of staying in this lovely village

Manor House Cottage self catering rural location

Manor House Cottage is located in the small hamlet of Holme-On-Swale 7 miles from the market town of Thirsk which is known for its connection to James Herriott and within easy reach of North Yorkshires National Parks. Set within the grounds of the Manor House, It is a quirky upside down cottage with a well appointed modern kitchen, two bedrooms and bathroom on the ground floor with sitting room upstairs, private garden with table and chairs. There are no other holiday cottages in the grounds.

'The Orchid' is a cosy, self-contained, stand alone guest space, neatly tucked away behind the main house. Inside is a fully equipped kitchen and shower room. The Vicarage Annexe is a beautiful, one double-bedroom facility situated at the foot of the Cleveland Hills. The building was originally built as a prayer and study room for the Vicarage. This is now a self-contained living area with en-suite facilities. The Annexe is located in the picturesque village of Carlton-in-Cleveland, which is in the North Yorkshire Moors National Park and this is an ideal location for a couple who enjoy the countryside for relaxing, sightseeing, walking or cycling.

It is spacious with a large lounge, kitchen, a double bedroom (ensuite bathroom) and a twin room. Also, a shower room with basin and toilet. Enjoy the use of your private patio seating area with views over the owners garden and pond. A larger garden area and further seating is also available for guest use. Local good pub (15 mins walk). Ideally placed for the polar express trains. The cottage has two bedrooms one with kingsize zip and link bed and one with two single beds. No smoking/Vaping No pets allowed
