Anglem & Car

Self contained 2 bedroom house on top floor. Central heating, instant hot water, electric oven and hobs, and all linen is provided. Kiwi have been spotted in the garden, Kaka, our large native parrot visit during the day. A 7 seater van is provided for you, we ask that petrol is replaced. Anglem is very central to all the local activities and has all the comforts of home. Free WiFi Anglem is in the main bay of Oban, a short distance to the ferry, hotel, shops etc. Very sunny and warm house.

Ringaringa Beach Cottage, comfortable whole house

Very quiet location with a welcome to overseas and New Zealand visitors. Families welcome but parents are asked to remember that although the road has little traffic, the property is not fenced. We have the greatest sea views, plenty of land and pelagic birds to spot with many simple and more challenging walks available, very like New Zealand used to be. Whare manu is a private, self contained boutique cottage that is solar powered. Set back into native bush with views of the sea and beach, which is only a minutes stroll away. Watch the Tui's and Bellbirds feed on the sculpted bird feeder right on the deck. Designed for couples to relax, unwind and enjoy. No children please. Te Whare Poutama - Bluff's Art Deco Gem!

This Art Deco inspired home is a Bluff landmark. Built by the Arnett family in the 1940s, it is named "Poutama" after the Tītī Island where they went muttonbirding. The home has three bedrooms and an open plan lounge, dining-nook and kitchen. North facing, it offers sun-drenched views of Bluff's waterfront, especially from its large sunroom that contains one of two work spaces. A two minute walk to a well-stocked dairy, it is a great base from which to enjoy Bluff or visit Stewart Island.

Hicks Farm accommodation offers a unit that has a bedroom and living room with your own bathroom 15m away along the outside deck. You are sharing the property with our family, the pet sheep and the local kiwi. We are a 20min walk from the centre of Oban, over a couple of hills. Please consider this before booking. Transfers are available with Aurora cabs, please contact them direct. If walking, backpacks are best and don't forget your rain jacket, it has been known to rain here!

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. New studio accommodation in rural Oban, where birds sing all day long. Enjoy a walk to Evening Cove Beach to enjoy a swim. This unit comes with a car, so you can travel the island and see the sites. Also do let us know when you will be arriving, as we like to pick our guests up and escort them to our accommodation. Evening Coves also runs fishing charters and Ulva Island drop off and pick up, on our vessel TE TAHI.

Relax in this unique and tranquil getaway. Nestled on a hill, this family home was once the Korari Tea Rooms in the 1920s. Soak in the beautiful views and birdsong of the bay and bush from the large deck. Kiwis have been spotted occasionally on the front lawn at night. Super close to everything: cafes, air services, shops, ferry, pub and walks. Observation Rock is at the top of the road with stunning views, bird watching plus a great spot for Aurora Australis.
