Furnished Glamping Tent/Red River Access/King Bed

Experience pure relaxation within the enchanting shelter of a 320 SF Glamping Tent, nestled just a stone's throw from the tranquil waters of the Red River. The Hallowed Horse beckons with its fully furnished sanctuary, boasting a king-sized bed, twin trundle bed, smart TV, fan, AC unit, coffee station, minifridge, microwave, internet access, firepit, grill, access to a bath house and an array of amenities. Despite the 10-minute drive to restaurants, the area exudes a sense of serene seclusion.

Enchanting Glamping Tent on Lake Cumberland

Named for a favorite Willy Porter song, "Moonbeam" is a 12'x14' safari tent on a wooden platform with a roof. Listen to tree frogs while drifting off to sleep on a queen size memory foam bed with soft, dreamy linens. The tent features power, lamps, chairs, and a desk. Outside, enjoy a private fire pit or sit a spell on rocking chairs on the back deck. Our Community Shelter, with a fridge, sink, and coffee maker, and our Bath House with flush toilets and hot showers are a short walk away.

This extraordinary off-grid, eco-friendly accommodation is fully furnished in the style of its origin, Old Colonial India. You can leave the sleeping bag in the basement and spend a restful night in fine white linens on a cushiony queen-sized bed. A well-equipped outdoor kitchen and a private bathhouse are just a few of the amenities provided for you. The Woods await!

You won’t forget the peaceful surroundings of this custom canvas bell tent and outhouse. A lot of time and hard work have gone into creating a beautiful, yet simple and peaceful getaway for couples/friends/family. Inspired by the owner’s love and appreciation of vintage furniture, keepsakes, and old classical music/media, our hope is for those who want a little place to stay, and are wanting something different will check us out. It is still a work in progress with much more to come!

The park’s visitor center is a 25 min drive using green river ferry route, and hiking/equine trails are 800 feet from camp. Nolin Lake is nearby as well as Blue Holler ATV park. The RED! Rustic luxury for two tucked away from the other tents. Spacious yet charming, The Red has much to offer. An inviting front porch, a private fire pit, park style charcoal grill, fridge, microwave, and coffee maker too. Stay warm and cozy with the faux fireplace and electric blanket. Assigned bathroom #2 provides privacy, a hot shower, and fresh towels. Soap and shampoo too! The bathhouse is a short walk from the tent and each tent has its own private bathroom.

Campsite on New River in National Park

Primitive campsite on the New River at Longbottom Pool. Excellent spot for relaxing, fishing, boating, swimming, camping, etc. The site is within New River Gorge National Park, approximately 3 miles from Sandstone Falls. Site was winning peg of 2023 New River Carp Tournament. It’s $35 a night for one tent / 4 people. Additional $10 per person per night. Dog fee is $10. Additional persons need to be paid in advance. I live onsite. Approximately 300’ away from site.
