Red Rooster Retreat - Edmond/Guthrie

Entire 400 sq ft Guesthouse to yourself. This historic-looking schoolhouse was used by two families for homeschooling. It has recently been transformed into a cozy farmhouse cabin for dreamy overnight getaways. At the edge of the Ozarks in the heart of green country is a small cottage located on a beautiful one acre spring feed pond. You can see the spring gushing out of the hillside. Our cottage is small, cozy, and very relaxing. Whether you are kicking back watching the tube or paddling around the pond you will feel right at home and may not want to leave. One bedroom cabin on 1500 private acres of the Quartz Mountains. The owners live on the same property near the cabin. Hiking, wildlife watching, fishing within walking distance. Cabin is 300 square feet and has two twin bunk beds and one full bed. A full kitchen with an apartment sized fridge. Bathroom with shower. Electric outdoor grill. Fire pit when weather permits. There is a smart tv with inernet. No more than 4 people in or at the cabin at any given time. Additional pet fee of $30

Inside you’ll find your favorite movie playing on surround sound and plenty of board games and puzzles for a quieter night. I have a hot tub that overlooks the river and bluff views. It is professionally maintained.
