Alojamento local "Casa da Avó", é uma casa tipicamente beirã que foi totalmente remodelada. Está inserida numa pequena aldeia de montanha, a Cava, concelho de Oleiros, rodeada por campos verdejantes onde se pode desfrutar da harmonia da paisagem rural, na presença de uma comunidade local que se dedica à agricultura. Percorra os imensos campos pintados de verde em socalcos, com as suas características paredes de xisto, aprecie e ouça o som da ribeira com as suas quedas de água naturais e moinhos.

Cabana do Xisto

O Cabana do Xisto is a lovingly restored cottage, traditionally made with local stone, keeping it cool in the Summer and cosy in the Winter. The cottage, with a private entrance, sleeps 2-4 people, has an open plan lounge and dining area and boasts valley views. An outdoor dry toilet and luxury shower experience are a short walk and next door you find our in-house bakery where your delicious vegan breakfast is created. Our very basic single private room has a single bed, chair and draws. It is cool and has a tile floor and sliding glass door. a single matress can be added-will be cramped. We have a beautiful shower room close by, currently cold water with ability to heat water via an urn if needed. Also wells for refreshing bucket showers and a couple of lakes to get wet and swim Space for camping available and free parking on site. Conjunto de 2 casas, com vista par o rio, independentes ou com comunicação interior que permite alojar grupos até 20 pessoas. Janeiro de Baixo é uma pequena aldeia entre montes, atravessada pelo rio Zêzere. House of Schist in the center of Portugal

Three schist houses being restored at the village of Cunqueiros, in the municipality of Proença-a-Nova, form the Casas da Encosta project. Here it’s possible to relive the life history and culture of the region’s people in the comfort of a typical Portuguese village. According to the owner, Nuno Caldeira, the houses are being restored following the local construction tradition where schist, clay and wood are featured. One of them, Casa da Lagariça, has already opened.

Casa do Linho is a charmingly restored 3 bedroom stone farmhouse in the picturesque village of Vale de Souto. It's one of the oldest houses in the village built over 400 years ago. There are several river beaches close by which are perfect for a dip in the heat of the Portuguese sunshine. 200m up the road is the local cafe shop. Sertã and Oleiros are 10mins drive away, with larger supermarkets and some excellent restaurants.
