Your tasting includes a premium flight of 5 Canadian wines paired with some of the best local cheese, charcuterie, produce and accompaniments.
Don't expect a sommelier talking your ear off about terroir and winemaking, dropping pretentious terms like minerality or tension.
Instead, expect conversation about religion, crypto, dating, and the wine industry in an unapologetically honest tone.
Don't expect a panel of high-nosed fellow tasters who pretend to know it all, people around the table can be anyone - school teachers, lawyers, musicians, IT guys, and just, good, fun people.
Do expect to laugh, a novel experience, some interesting knowledge, meeting interesting people, a taste of Canada, and some more laughs.
