Sit with a drink on the decking, or in front of the little log burner, and watch the sunset over the mountains, or the snow sweeping in along the valley. The annexe is situated next to our home with its own private access so you can be completely independent. It’s in the small village of Four Crosses near the England/Wales border and can sleep five people in two bedrooms, one king-size double and one family room comprising three single beds. The ground floor has an open plan living area with kitchen, dining area and sitting area. Outside there is off road parking for two cars and a gravelled patio with garden furniture.

Built 100 years ago for a family that worked on the estate, Lyth Cottage sits at the edge of parkland with views across open fields to the Welsh hills. The 1-storey peaceful cottage has 1 double and 1 twin bedroom with additional single bed if required. The bathroom has a walk-in shower and the kitchen is well equipped with dishwasher and washer/dryer. It has a small garden with seating. Ellesmere is a 1.5m drive, or a 1m walk/cycle along the canal towpath.
