Casita for two in the valley at BASECAMP 550

Stay in one of our cozy Casitas (tiny houses) that accommodate two people and are situated among a few others at our eclectic campground in the valley between Ridgway and Ouray Colorado. These tiny homes have a small footprint of 250 square feet but feel much larger due to the high vaulted ceilings. They are stocked with your everyday necessities such as linens, cooking basics and showering facilities. We have cleverly designed them to maximize space and hope you enjoy the loft views!

Down climb into this quintessential alpine hideaway. The Ice Climber's Suite is a historic 1890's miner's quarters built for the employees of the Idarado Mine Company. This underground space features original stone walls and brick floors. It is a cozy and unique retreat, the perfect basecamp for all your mountain adventures. *WARNING* the ceilings are as low as 6'2" in some areas in this unit. This unit is next to the laundry room which is accessed by the cleaning staff during the day.

This beautifully renovated upstairs condo is located in the heart of downtown Ouray. The front entrance is located off 6th Ave (same as Kristopher's Culinary, Hotel Ouray and the MoJo's Coffee Shop), just a half block from Main Street. The condo was renovated in 2019 with brand new EVERYTHING (floors, kitchen, bathroom, carpet, windows, HVAC, etc.)! All finishes are high end giving the feeling of a lux stay. The condo has an open concept while the bedroom and bathroom are private.

Cute and cozy riverfront cabins with electric are available as a more economical option for guests who want to have the cabin experience and still have the convenience of being close to downtown Ouray. PLEASE NOTE: Cabins do NOT have water or bathrooms inside. Drinking water is readily available. Heated restrooms / shower facilities are a short walk from the cabins and checked multiple times daily. Pets are allowed ONLY with pre-approval / additional deposit & nightly fees.

Updated in 2018, this quaint 2 bedroom, 1.5 bath home is perfectly located only one block from Main Street on the south end of town near the Ice Park and Box Canyon Falls. The home has a 50" Smart TV, wireless internet, a ready to cook-in kitchen and a washer and dryer for guest use. The house also has a huge grassy yard, views in all directions, and plenty of parking for jeeps, truck and trailer combo, etc. The house has 2 bedrooms and sleeps four guests.

The cabin has Air conditioner Hulu TV, High Speed fiber WIFI, king bed, (new mattress may 2020!) and a queen sofa sleeper in the den. Also a full kitchen. Everyone loves the privacy of the cabin and being close to everything in Ouray!
