Casa Luna, Desert Retreat

Casa Luna was originally built as a yoga studio. Accommodations include: privacy, and space for an immersive desert experience with excellent star gazing. Located less than two miles west of the Terlingua Ghostown, this space offers unobstructed views of the Chisos Mountains, a full kitchen, and full separate bathroom. A 1,400 square foot open studio space with three queen sized beds accommodates six people comfortably. Not suitable for mobility impaired, or children under 12. We live on site.

Hot outdoor showers under the stars, rock patios, gas stove, mini fridge, king size bed, covered parking, WiFi, fire pit and Tootsie the turtle lives here too! Linens, kitchen utensils and towels provided. Only 30 minutes to Big Bend National Park and Terlingua Ghost town, 20 min to Terlingua Ranch Pool and Bad Rabbit Cafe.

The location is central, 5 minutes from the national park and Ghosttown, on the main highway. Each cabin has a full kitchen with all cooking essentials. A wrap-around deck on three sides with patio furniture, a covered pergola, & a firepit. We have a clubhouse with a pool table, air hockey, foosball, arcades, darts & more. We have 12 rentals in total for large groups to stay together.

Nestled against a quiet hill and overlooking the Eastwood Mesa, our trio of stucco casitas offers a serene retreat 17 minutes from Big Bend National Park. Welcome to my earth bag home located 25 minutes outside of the entrance to Big Bend National Park. The house sits on 150 acres with 360 degree views of mountains, mesas, pinnacles, spires, and buttes. There are walking trails throughout the property. Good luck finding another home with as much love put into it! If the Earthbag home is booked I have a home called “Rammed Earth” over the hill that is a work of art. For some reason with online algorithms this home is not showing up as often.

Built by miners a hundred years ago, the cabin has been comfortably updated while keeping its authentic feel. Its spacious porch affords the best view of the mountains of Big Bend National Park as well as the stars at night. Although it has an indoor bedroom and bathroom, guests love the outdoor shower as well as the open air bed on the patio.
