Glamping at Urkuwayku: Tent "Cotopaxi"

Enjoy elevated camping at our family-run, organic farm, Granja Urkuwayku on the Ilaló Volcano. We have two tents available (Cotopaxi and Pasochoa), each with a spectacular view. Located 50 meters from your tent, awaits a furnished kitchen and your own bathroom with shower. We provide breakfast, including farm-fresh yogurt, granola, eggs, bread, juice, and coffee. Prepare your own lunch and dinner. Hundreds of kms of hiking and biking trails surround, including hot springs just minutes away.

Imagine you are in the center of one of the most beautiful colonial centers in Latin America, you see one of the few buildings from the 70s that are in the area, to which time has made its own. When you enter, you could be in an old building in NY or Moscow, you go up the stairs and you still don't know what you are doing there, you go down a small corridor and you come across a pure metal door, now you think you are going to a recording studio or an airplane workshop.

This is a tiny house with a loft design, dramatic windows, and soaring ceilings. 10min from the North Control of National Park Cotopaxi. Due to its strategic location in the valley of the volcanoes it provides unmatched 360 degree views of the mountains and night sky. Isolated and at 3650m on a high flat plain it's within an exclusive and private 19 hectare reserve. On a clear day there are views of up to 7 volcanos. 4x4 vehicle necessary. Pets Welcome.

Una cabaña ideal para compartir con grandes grupos familiares y amigos. Sus extensos ventanales permiten mirar las montañas y la neblina desde cualquier lugar de su interior. No hay luz eléctrica, se ilumina con luz de velas, velones y lámparas de panel solar, lo que hace mágica la experiencia en la noche. Está equipada con una tina de agua caliente, chimenea, sala, comedor, cocina, asadero interno, muy cerca de las Reservas Cayambe Coca y Antisana.

The stay will allow you to live and visit one of the city's most exciting and historically significant parts. The town was founded blocks away from the apartment in the 16th century.
