Situated on a small holding 5km outside Franschhoek, opposite the exquisite La Motte Wine Estate, Heidi’s Barn offers the perfect self-catering base from which to explore the Winelands. We are a family owned self catering guest lodge situated on a small citrus farm in the heart of the Franschhoek winelands. Two rivers border the farm, the smaller Kastaiings river and the Franschhoek river. We are surrounded by mountains and boast exceptional views. Happy Valley is situated 5kms from Franschhoek and is a stroll away from the famous La Motte and Môreson vineyards. Our swimming pool is in a secluded spot by the river with ancient oaks offering shade.

'African adventure' in Wine Country

This stunning second storey apartment has great views and has a fully equipped kitchen for guests (gas stove, microwave and fridge). Laundry washing machine available at R35 per load - liquid provided. You can lounge around, or visit the three wine farms bordering us (between 5 and 10min walks) as well as a great beer breweries. We are situated on the main road to Franschhoek - 5 min drive to the center of town.
