The lodge has many eco-friendly features and is surrounded by lawns and a large organic vegetable garden. A shepherds track leads directly onto the mountain for exhilarating walks and views. Newport town is just a 15 minute walk down the lane and is renowned as the pearl of the Pembrokeshire coastline. This truly is a perfect place for a couple or a small family to experience the “Good Life”.

This is a self contained cottage which is an extension to a barn conversion. It is located on a working farm with stunning views and access to 70 acres of private woodland as well as many footpaths and a village pub 5 minute walk away. The coastal towns of Fishguard and Newport are within 5 miles of the village. The cottage itself has one bedroom with a double bed, a kitchen/dining room, a sitting room and a bathroom. It has underfloor heating throughout and a log burner in the sitting room.

Bwythyn Afon (River Cottage) is situated on our small holding at the foot of the Preseli Mountains and is a short drive from Pembrokeshire's beautiful coastline with its many beaches and the famous coastal path. With its separate entrance, own parking space and sole use of riverside patio, it truly is a place to relax after a busy day exploring the area.

Delightful and homely Newfoundland Cottage

Our super cosy cottage has free off road parking and is situated in the foothills of the Preseli's with easy access to walks. Ancient monuments and beaches can also be found within 20 minutes by car. The cottage has a double bedroom with a sumptuous Hypnos mattress, plus a sofa bed in the living room if needed. The modern bathroom has a large shower but no bath. The newly fitted kitchen has a washer/dryer, microwave, dishwasher, fridge with icebox and Bosch oven and hob.

At the far end of a private no through track, you can walk into the National Park Preselis from the front door. Located within the beautiful Pembrokeshire National Park & Situated adjacent to our 17th Century farm house, The Maids Cottage is a unique and newly renovated studio style cottage comprising of living/sleeping/kitchette area and a new modern shower room.The building dates back to the 17th century and was the original milking shed where the ‘house cow’ would have been milked by the farm maid.
