This gorgeous and quaint cottage sits on Muddy Creek where Perquimans River and the Albemarle Sound meet. It offers unparalleled views of magnificent dusk and dawn skies over water as you are surrounded by a variety of wildlife. Inside, the cottage has an open concept with one large room and a separate full bathroom. Walls of windows offer panoramic water views that embrace you the moment you walk through the front door. An ideal getaway retreat for couples, or a family with small children.

Located in Snug Harbor, this 2 bedroom, 1 bath cottage sits just off of Albemarle Sound on the Yeopim Creek. Just bring your own fishing gear and enjoy your private dock. For those boat captains, there’s a neighborhood boat ramp that is just around the corner so bring the boat. During raining days, enjoy the poker table, darts, and variety of boards/card games. 2 kayaks are available for your use during your stay. This unique hidden gem has all the features for an amazing getaway. We are an hour/ 20 min drive from the beautiful Outerbanks NC. Enjoy kayaking, fishing and swimming at our shared park on the Albermarle Sound. Swim in our community pool and then end your day at a cozy campfire. Wake to the sounds of birds and fall asleep to the sound of frogs and crickets. We are located in a peaceful, family friendly community. We are so excited to invite you to stay in our sweet little classic cottage, nestled in the heart of Elizabeth City's historic district. 1201 Church Street is surrounded by some of the original Elizabeth City homes dating all the way back to the late 1700s. We fell in love with the charm of the area combined with all of the up-and-coming attractions nearby. Our cottage is close to all of the new downtown breweries, wine bars, trendy restaurants, and waterfront district.

Water Winds has Beautiful views of Albemarle Sound. Enjoy birding with Bald head eagles and Osprey, often seen in the cypress trees outside the great room. Paddling in the kayaks and exploring the sound are great ways to enjoy the natural beauty of the area. Bicycles and yoga mats are all available to relax and enjoy some down time here. Smart TV, hi speed wireless internet along with a fun size pool table, foosball, dartboard and ping pong downstairs.

An additional guest such as a child can be accommodated at no extra charge using our single air mattress.

Four bedrooms, a large living room, a breakfast nook, dining area, a loft, a large wrap-around porch, and a porch balcony provides lots of space to live, work, visit, and relax. Built in the 1970s and recently updated, this house is comfortable with a modern retro feel.
