Westwood Golf course is 8 miles away, Copper Falls near Mellen, with waterfalls & hiking, and Minocqua is less than an hour northeast. Winter months, we have pristine snowmobile trails, ice fishing, cross-country skiing & snowshoe trails.

My family originally stayed at Hidden Bay as renters and we liked it so much we bought it & kept the name! Our North Woods Getaway

Modern home with all the amenities including a dishwasher and washer/dryer. Very comfortable and relaxing. With Satellite TV and WIFI. Set on 2 acres in the Flambeau Forest with a screen room to enjoy the peace and quite of the outdoors. ATV/UTV and snowmobile trail is 1/8 of a mile from the front door. Also a 1/4 mile from the Flambeau ski trail. The North Fork of the Flambeau river is one mile away with great canoeing and Kayaking. There are 2 Walleye lakes at the end of the road.

Hunt, fish, hike, bike, x-country ski, swim, boat, ATV/snowmobile, or just relax, unplug, and unwind. You can do it all at Pinecone Cottage. "Into the forest, I go to lose my mind and find my soul." John Muir. This is a very remote location and cell phone coverage is unreliable.

Close to ATV trails with Country store & bar/food about 1 mile. Near Lake Holcombe, & surrounding areas. $50 pet fee for one pet, add to reservation. The Eagle's nest is an adjacent unit (sleeps 6).
