French patio doors from the kitchen and master bedroom open onto the deck area with stunning views of the Northumberland Strait. Downstairs consists of 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, laundry room and another family room which all have stunning views of the ocean.

Riverside Cottage (with heated pool Mid Jun -Sept)

Cottage sits right alongside of the West River of Pictou and has a heated swimming pool—weather permitting. Very quiet and private. Couples/Singles only. Free use of the onsite canoe or kayaks. There is a private firepit onsite which can be used when the government burn restrictions permit, and a private deck with a bbq. There is also an above ground heated pool shared with the owners. Just a 5 minute walk down the lane will bring you to a private beach where you will find the warmest ocean waters in Canada. Sunsets are spectacular!
