A private rustic driveway takes you past the "Wild & Scenic" Feather River, into the mountains to this peaceful getaway, just 1.5 miles from town. Close to groceries & restaurants, a great base camp!

Indian Valley Cottage (Retreat)

This is a 570 sq ft building with BR, BA and living area. It is located in beautiful Indian Valley. Lots of wildlife including deer, turkey, bear, and geese. The Kitchenette has a coffee and tea maker, refrigerator, hot plate, electric skillet and microwave, and should have enough tools for you to make simple meals. I also provide a grill on the patio, some outdoor furniture so guests may enjoy coffee, tea, in the morning or another beverage while watching the stars at night.

You will have access to our hot spring and swimming reservoir (the hot spring requires 4-wheel-drive in inclement weather.) The ranch is a great place for hiking, star gazing, relaxing at the water's edge or enjoying the country life. The perfect place to stay and unwind, or regroup for your next adventure.

Here is where you will find this lovely home on the banks of Spanish Creek. Beautiful rock patios right out your back door with built in fire pits and BBQ's. This cabin has all the comforts of home. Located in a community built by the railroad in the early 1900's, next to the historic Paxton Lodge. Gold, Trains, Ghosts and Rock'n'Roll. A short walk to the Feather River and the best sand beach on the river! Swimming, kayaking, and fishing are all available in the area. Hiking, horseback riding, off road trails for hundreds of miles.
