There has been a mill on this site since 1298 and in 2019 we completely refurbished the current 18th century milll to a very high standard to ensure a truly comfortable and magical getaway. The mill lies in a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty in Daphne du Maurier country, on the Fowey estuary.

Close to the heritage harbour of Charlestown and South Coast with its beautiful scenery, walks, fantastic beaches and cycle trails. Coastal resorts of Carlyon Bay, Pentewan Sands, are all easily accessible.

The Cottage at Trevelyan -rural Cornwall

The Cottage is within the grounds of our home, Trevelyan, in a beautiful rural part of south east Cornwall. You will have your own walled garden area. It is a converted farm building, and we have attempted to make the best use of the space. The shower room is compact but perfectly adequate, there is a bedroom, kitchen/dining room and the living room has folding doors to bring the outside in! Take it easy at this tranquil getaway. A compact base within walking distance to several beaches and the coastal town of Looe. Within minutes, you can be walking on the South West coast path, enjoying breath taking views towards Looe Island. Looe is a popular holiday destination with shops, cafes, and a variety of restaurants. Although parking is available at the property, it can also be accessed by a walk from Looe’s train station or by bus.
