Cape Point Mountain Getaway - Stone Cottage

This is one of Cape Town's environmental and historic treasures. It is a candle-lit hideaway with stunning views of mountain and sea. The Cottage is completely off grid, with fresh water coming off the mountain and energy from the sun. The cottage is built from local materials - stone walls, reed ceilings, blue gum supports. There are glass doors and windows throughout the cottage. The cottage has a beautiful open-plan bedroom and bathroom. The bathroom includes a tub, a toilet and a basin.

This is the newest and best kitted out beach bungalow out of the 26 in the private nature reserve of Smitswinkel Bay, near Cape Point. A perfect barefoot holiday spot for reconnecting. This is a tiny cabin built for the love of the Koegelberg nature biosphere. It floats on a sea of fynbos and lives out onto a large deck for breakfast with the birds, reading in the hammock, soaking in the fire bath, and dinner al fresco within earshot of the breaking waves. The train is a 10minute walk

Perfect home for re-connecting with friends and family, with a pool for the summer and fireplaces for the winter. The sand dunes are 15 meters from the house, and the beach a 3 minute walk Great for 1 or 2 families with up to 6 children, or 3 couples. Please note: not suitable for more than 6 adults.
