Rustic hilltop cabin overlooking Lake Hodges. Surrounded by open canyons & mountains, you will feel like you're a million miles away from everything as you take in the views from the cabin, deck or the outside shower, swim in the saltwater pool, or relax by the fire bowl. A short walk to lake with boating, fishing & miles of hiking/mountain biking trails. Property offers swimming pool, fire bowl, and shaded arbor. SD Zoo Safari Park, wineries, breweries, & ocean beaches all within easy reach.

Cranberry Cabin

Enjoy the lovely setting of this romantic cozy cabin on the top of the mountain. A basecamp ready for your Palomar adventures. This is a tiny home, 19' x 11' (the bedroom is 11x11ft). Max sleeping capacity: 2 adults and one child under age 5. No AC. Valley views are from guest accessible property, not directly from the cabin porch. Max 2 dogs stay free - disclose bringing them. $100 cat cleaning fee on top of our $50 cleaning fee, and we will charge $200 if you fail to disclose your cat(s).

The Tiny Cabin - Coral Tree House

*Owners live on site, are available to answer questions and provide assistance, but give guests their privacy. *The sleeping porch is not heated. *Cooking is limited. *There are 3 rentals on the property. All have access to the pool/jacuzzi. *Riley, the world's sweetest dog, lives on the property. *Parents, the pool is unfenced and there are no vertical posts in the stair railings. *To preserve the peaceful atmosphere, only registered guests are allowed on the property. *No pets. *No smoking.

The Wood Pile Inn getaway

Kick back and relax in this calm, stylish space. This historic cabin built in 1920 was recently refurbished to its old charm with some modern upgrades for your comfort. The original owner of the Cabin was an author named Catherine Woods. She wrote the very first book on the history of Palomar Mountain; Teepee to Telescope. You'll find a copy in the cabin for a good read.Lots of natural light make this little cabin feel spacious, the windows throughout the cabin offer a beautiful forest view.

Conveniently located near Temecula Wine Country, Old Town Temecula, and Pechanga, we are close to everything but still very secluded. Small dogs are allowed for a fee of $50 - passed on to our cleaning company for additional cleaning between guests. Unfortunately we do not allow cats due to allergy sensitivities. Our dome is a half-moon structure that features a king-size memory foam bed and an outdoor shower under a pepper tree, while the deck provides stunning views of the hilltop. We're located in a gated community close to all major attractions, and guests can enjoy beautiful sunsets, starry skies, ocean breeze, and bird watching (21 different kinds). The dome is 200 sqft with AC/heater, an outhouse (composting toilet), and outdoor showers, making it a perfect choice for glamping.
