Our peaceful 1-bedroom guest suite has everything you need for your Dannevirke stay. We provide free continental breakfast. During your stay, you can also enjoy the convenience of the pool, private bathroom, full kitchen, secure off street parking. Our Airbnb is within driving distance to several popular restaurants, hikes, and cafes. An ideal base to explore Dannevirke. The bedroom area is located in a loft with stairs for access. We also have a friendly boxer dog who will love to say hello.

DuxHouse BnB - cooked breakfast included

Opened in 2022, DuxHouse BnB is conveniently located in Taihape's Motel District on SH1. We are centrally located in the beautiful Rangitikei in the Central North Island. Tongariro NP (a UNESCO World Heritage Site) is just over 45 mins away. Perfect for hiking in summer, or snow fun in winter. Central towns, such as Whanganui and Palmerston North are just over an hour away. Further afield are Napier (2hrs), Taupo (2 hrs), and Wellington (3hrs) making Taihape the perfect central pitstop.

Self Contained in Feilding

My husband and I welcome you to friendly Feilding. Our sleep out has an ensuite (shower, vanity, toilet), TV, wardrobe and queen bed with linen and towels. There is a jug with mugs, tea/coffee/milk and a fridge. There are no cooking facilities. The sleep out is separate to the house so you can come and go as you please. Easy self check in/out. My mum is a co-host so it really is family run. NB; breakfast isn't included and due to working full time, check in is from 5pm. Thanks :)

The Guest Unit Countryside Views & Keyless Entry.

"The Unit" is a Private self contained space away from the main house at the rear of the Garage. It is cosy with views of the countryside. Located 3 minutes up the hill from Taihape township. The Unit gives you all the comforts of home on your journey so you can relax and enjoy your stay. Taihape is a farming town and with the Main Highway going right through it's centre, plenty of choice for dining out. Taihape is commonly Warm summer and cold winter weather. We cater for both.

Quiet and spacious with stunning 180 degree views

Awaiti Lodge is located within the scenic gardens of a beautiful 15 acre lifestyle block only 4.8 Km's from Ohakune, the southern gateway to the Tongariro National Park & Mount Ruapehu. The lodge has fully self contained accommodation all on the second level and accessible via it's own spiral staircase with fantastic views of the spacious gardens backing onto the Waimarino Golf Course. With central heating throughout you're sure to be cosy and warm, even if it's snowing outside!

Stable Studio, couple’s getaway with mountain view

Located along SH49, just 5 mins from Ohakune, the Stable Studio is part of the iconic Ruapehu Homestead that was destroyed by fire in 2008. The studio is luckily unharmed by the fire and renovated as a self-contained studio especially designed for you to come alone or with a partner - the perfect retreat to wind down after a day of sightseeing, skiing or biking. Its balcony offers views of Mount Ruapehu as well as the lush surroundings with occasional frolicking horses.

We are close to great views and family-friendly activities. 2 minutes walk to Old Coach Rd - Ohakune cycle track/walkway. Other cycle tracks nearby include Fisher Track, Bridge to Nowhere, Tramway Track and 42nd Traverse Mountain bike track. Bike hire available at Ohakune & National Park We are halfway between Whakapapa and Turoa skifields. 10minutes to Ohakune and 15 minutesNational Park Village. Visit Owhango ( 25 minutes ) for fishing, hunting and bush walks.

Ruapehu Rest Accommodation

The accommodation is a fully private section of our large house. Private bathroom with two bedrooms (one with bunks), private deck space and guest entrance with own car park. It also includes a sauna and Central Heating. A little kitchenette includes hot and cold filtered water, plates and cutlery. There is a microwave, mini fridge and toaster in the lounge. There is a small Gas Camp Cooker on the deck. Breakfast is continental (toast, cereal, tea, coffee).

Waireka Studio

Waireka Studio is an accommodation option for up to 2 persons A combined Living Bedroom space with Queen size bed. Kitchenette for tea and coffee making. Lounge chairs and dining table and of course our famous fresh baked bread. Special rates apply for bookings of 2 nights or more. Waireka Studio does not include the Spa See also Waireka Apartment including Spa for another option for your stay in Ohakune. Waireka Studio is a Non-Smoking property

Mangaweka Rural Refuge-beautiful location to rest

This newly renovated self contained unit is in the beautiful Kawhatau Valley, Mangaweka on a small sheep and beef farm. Five minutes off State Highway One, this accommodation is only two kms up the road from the famous Rangitikei river and the popular Awastone licenced cafe (open Nov-March). Handy place to stay if fishing, rafting, cycling or just wanting a quiet country retreat or stopover.
