Mama Bear's Hideaway is situated in the heart of Red River, 100 yards from the ski lifts, across the street from a convenient supermarket, walking distance to Steam Coffee and many other restaurants and shops. Other amenities include free Wi-Fi, fire pit, outdoor grills, private pond w/ fishing available. NO PETS allowed.

It is a wonderful experience to stay in our beautiful home in the mountains of Northern New Mexico surrounded by vast ranch lands. Viewing wildlife and observing nature is a favorite pastime for our guests and the wildlife is everywhere, from birds in the sky and in the water to many elk, deer and other mammals abound. The log home is modern and refined in its restoration although it is now 100 years old and is unique to our area in its style and comfort. We DO NOT ALLOW PETS.

Cozy rustic cabin facing Eagle Nest Lake with spectacular views including Wheeler Peak, tallest in New Mexico. The cabin is about 450 sq. ft. and is fully furnished (microwave, fridge, stove, pots/pans/dishes/utensils) has a kiva fireplace, a full size bed for singles, couples or Mom and Dad with bunk beds for the kids and a TV to play games or watch videos. Fishing is just a few minutes away, and depending on the season, golf and skiing are nearby too.
