This beautiful cabin is only 40 min from Reykjavík for 4 people in two queen size beds (one bedroom and a loft), one more person can sleep on a mattress if needed. The cabin is close to Hvalfjörður, Hvammsvík Hot springs, Glymur (Iceland's tallest waterfall), Thingvellir (30 min), Golden Circle and Snæfellsnes (170 km). Great opportunity to see the Northern lights if weather allows.

The Kamburinn cottage is located in a small village called Hveregardi in the south-west of Iceland, a 40-minute drive from the capital, which will allow you to easily visit the attractions on the Golden Circle route. This village is popular for its phenomenal hiking trails, one of them is Reykjadalur Hot Springs. The cabin is in a secluded location in a mountainous area which allows you to see fantastic views of the Northern Lights, decorated cozy with everything you need during your stay.

Very centrally located; Keflavik Airport 35 minutes, Blue Lagoon 35 minutes, Reykjavik city centre 25 min. Relax after a busy day in front of the fireplace and / or the salt water hot tub, whilst enjoying the northern lights.

Gunnu Hús by Meðalfellsvatn ( Our lakeside cottage nestles at the foot of Medalfell mountain and the garden leads right down to the lake. The views are spectacular, of the lake and its surrounding mountain scape; it is a place of pure tranquility. It has 3 bedrooms and an open plan kitchen and sitting room. It has a large double bedroom, and small double bedroom and a room with a bunk bed. It is well known and often listed as one of the most scenic and lovely summer cottages in Iceland.

There are also fun experiences around our farm such as a lot of beautiful hiking trails, horse riding and more. Very good for families. It's a very good location to plan day trips from. If there are northern lights you can see right outside the door.

For summertime visits, we have bug sprays available for the no see ums (Lúsmý) as well as window nets.

It has a simple but well equipped kitchen, electric heating and shower. It is ideal for groups of 4 or 5 but can accommodate up to 7 guests if utilizing the double sofa bed in the living area.
