The Tree Cabin

The heated tree cabin is set within a small secluded wood up a steep path. Cedar lined, insulated and oak clad it cantilevers out over a remote mill pond. Wake up in a tranquil heaven only shared with shy wildlife, including deer, hare, the odd badger and a variety of birds. In the cabin are a king-size plus bed, table and chairs, kitchen area with induction plate, microwave oven & toaster. Your own smaller tree cabin, a few trees away, houses a flushing toilet and hand basin with spring water.

'Waterside Studio' is a well appointed apartment in an annexe to the main house, but with private access. It is situated in a quiet part of a unique village, which has a sea dock, adjacent to the Lune Estuary and canal basin on a branch arm of the Lancaster Canal. Ideal for walkers, cyclists, bird watchers and anyone who likes all aspects of wildlife, boating and the sea. We are 5 m. south of the historically important University town of Lancaster. Long Fall Bothy is a gorgeous stone building on the outskirts of Marsden village in West Yorkshire. Perfect for a walking holiday, the Kirklees Way passes the property and the Pennine Way, Oldham Way are close by. A great place for mountain biking with the Transpennine Trail a few miles away and lots of cycle paths/trails on your doorstep. Local real ale pubs and plenty of cafes in Marsden village a short walk (15 minutes) along the canal. Beautiful scenery, views from the cottage are amazing.

You’ll love our place, Its home from home, We want you to come back, we have made it as cosy as we can. You will love it.. Cosy central heated Wooden log cabin/lodge surrounded by beautiful countryside views. Ideal for those wanting to be a mile from our local village but in a quiet area. Walks for all abilities from our doorstep. Two medium sized dogs are welcome. Local pubs are dog friendly and we have lots of places to eat locally. Amazing views, a wood burning stove, a very comfy four poster king sized bed and a fantastic shower have all been in 5* feedback left by many satisfied guests.
